What’s The Best Planner for 2024?

THE NUMBER ONE QUESTION I GET

The number one question I get asked by my clients when they sign up to coach with me is:

  • Which planner or calendar should I use?

Before I make my recommendation I always ask, "How's your time management going right now?

WHAT’S REALLY HAPPENING

Here's what they usually say:

  • I'm just holding it together

  • I am always behind

  • I thought I could do it all

  • My family don’t value all I do for them

  • I have so much brain fog and fatigue

  • I didn’t think I’d need help

  • I have to get it done my way

WHY IT’S NOT ABOUT THE PLANNER

It’s EXTREMELY hard to motivate yourself and use a planner when you're feeling guilty, anxious, resentful or filled with shame that you can't get on top of your schedule.

Instead, you'll want to procrastinate, dive into a scroll hole on your phone, or just feel a general sense of panic all day.

It's never about the "right" planner or calendar.

It's about the thinking that motivates you to get things done.

To get things done, you need to feel motivated, determined or excited about your schedule.

A TIP FOR CREATING MOTIVATION

This week, try asking yourself “what could I think about this task that would make me feel motivated?”

My favourite is: "I’ll feel SO GOOD when this is done".

And once you've conquered that, you can buy one of my favourite planners here 😆
