Try This for Overwhelm

Managing 10 staff and 6+ projects was no joke.

I used to run from meeting to meeting, and any time I had 15 minutes between calls, I'd use it to catch up on Slack and email.

This meant no meaningful chunky work ever got done, and my head was often swimming with all the actions I needed to follow up on.

This method stopped the awful stress and panic at work for me. And it works in my personal life too.

I even made an acronym to make it easy to remember:

FREED...

Feeling overwhelmed?

Release your thoughts on paper. Every task and to do goes on one long list.

Evaluate what's crucial today (Rank them A, B, C, or D - A is 'has to be done today', D = delegate or delete).

Estimate time for each A (Only spend 1 minute doing this). Go with your gut feeling

Dive in and feel free!

Any time I sat down at my desk, I would just see the "As" on my list and this made it so much easier to narrow down what needed to be done.

Try it this week in your work or personal life!
